Dr. Srinivas Swaroop Kolla received his Bachelor's degree (2002) from Nagarjuna University in India and M.S. (2007) and Ph.D. (2018) degrees from The University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA all in Mechanical Engineering. He has a professional career of more than 10 years working/leading multi-disciplinary industry projects and cross-functional teams across Europe and India specializing in Oil & Gas, Medical, and Automotive sectors. Dr. Kolla's research interests are Multiphase Flow & Transportation, Compact Separation Technologies, and Particle Transport. Applications span various industries not limiting to the following: clean water, wastewater management, produced water, filtration equipment, etc. He is experienced in using numerical tools namely, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as well as Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) designing mechanical components/systems. Dr. Kolla has applied for multiple patents and has authored/co-authored over 23 publications. He currently serves as Chair of ASME Mid-Continent Section and Lead Organizer of Multiphase Flow Technical Track in ASME Fluid Engineering Division and a member of FMTC, CFDTC, MFTC technical committees. He also serves as a reviewer for several conferences and journals. Dr. Kolla has received several awards, scholarships, and fellowships during his career. In 2020, Dr. Kolla has joined Oklahoma State University-Tulsa as a faculty teaching Undergraduates curriculum of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
